Place. Space. Person. Journey.
Archtree founder Robert spent his childhood in Moscow, where he lived in one of many identical, prefabricated blocks — grey, rectangular, mass-produced. If he thought of it at all, he saw architecture as something distant. Not part of everyday life.
He planned to study law. But in his final year of school, a move brought technical drawing into his path — and something clicked. While others struggled, spatial reasoning came naturally to him. He enrolled in architecture instead.
Through extensive reading, Robert began to understand that there is no universal solution in contemporary architecture. Some people need stimulation — complexity in form and texture. Others seek calm, clarity, space. Environments, too, vary in what they demand and allow.
Years later, that insight has become Archtree Studio's philosophy. Before we draw, we research. We read. We listen to you. We gather precedents, interrogate ideas, and approach each project with curiosity. No standard models. No assumptions.
