Among the Dunes of Castelldefels

Spectacular house in the beach area of Castelldefels, arranged around a central garden — oriented to the best views and taking advantage of the path of the sun. A sincere house in its choice of materials, distribution, and operation. Inside, single-height spaces combine with double-height ones, and large panoramic windows produce a feeling of spaciousness, lightness, and clarity.

Concrete structure with panoramic windows; transparency, openness, and frankness in the use of materials and structure — these were the first ideas behind the design of this house.

From the first contact with the area and its pine forests, we introduced wood as a project material. The wooden lattice shutters give the interior a sense of privacy and protect it from unwanted views — they allow you to see and not be seen. The louvered shutters also protect from the sun, creating a play of light and shadow that echoes the branches of the local pines.
